Different from the common tour in China that provides one tour guide for you in each city you visit, the China Escorted Tour will provide you with a national guide who will accompany you from beginning to end in addition to the local guide in each city.

Some tourists are worried about taking a train or flight in China alone. In our China escorted tour, the national guide will take the train with you together and you don’t need to worry about missing the destination.

And if you want to walk around after dinner, your national guide can also give you some advice.

You may want to ask, if so why not only arrange a national guide. Because compared with the national guide, the local tour guide will give you more information about the city, its history, culture and even the secrets other people don’t know. Therefore, a local tour guide will bring you more happiness during your trip and make your trip more meaningful.
6. Will you book an international flight ticket for me?
We provide domestic flight and train ticket service. The international flight tickets should be booked on your own. And we will arrange an airport pick-up service for you according to your flight schedule. So please tell us your arrival and departure flight after you make the booking.
7. How long should I spend in China?
The itinerary of a trip to China can be long or short as you wish. This means that you can stay in China for 3 days or 20 days. Even if your flight is transiting in China, you only have 1-day free time, we can also arrange the itinerary for you.

The land area of China is about 9.6 million square kilometers. The eastern and southern mainland coastline is more than 18,000 kilometers, and the water area of the inland sea and border sea is about 4.7 million square kilometers. There are more than 7,600 large and small islands in the sea area, of which Taiwan Island is the largest with an area of 35,798 square kilometers.

On such a vast land, China has very rich natural tourism resources. There is Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world; the Yangtze River, the third-longest river in the world; the rolling Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the colorful Danxia landform. In addition, the boundless desert and Crescent Spring hidden in the desert are also natural beauty not to be missed.

In terms of culture and history, China has a history of more than 5,000 years. This also makes China's cultural heritage very rich. The twists and turns of the Great Wall, the magnificent Forbidden City, and the majestic terracotta warriors, these cultural heritages attract countless tourists to visit.

So whether you want a short-term China tour within 1 week, a relaxing China tour of more than 10 days, or even an in-depth China tour of about 20 days, we can arrange it for you. Just tell us your request, and you will get a tailor-made China tour.
8. What kind of vehicle will I get if I book this China escorted tour? Will I use the same car in the same city? Or maybe you will change the vehicle every day?
As for the vehicle, we will arrange it as you requested. We do provide luxury cars such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and so on. We can also arrange a common car for you like the Volkswagen Passat. If you are on business travel, maybe you need to meet your business partner before you start sightseeing. In this case, we can arrange the business purpose vehicle for you. So just tell us your request. We will meet your needs.

Most of the time, you will use the same car in the same city. For example, you will spend 3 days in Beijing and then transfer to Shanghai, and your car will not be changed in these 3 days unless there are special circumstances.
9. Will you arrange Chinese food for the whole China tour? Is that easy for me to find western food in China?
Generally speaking, we will arrange both Chinese and western food for you for the whole trip. And we will arrange local special food for you in different cities. For example, you may enjoy Peking Roast Duck in Beijing, dumplings in Xi’an, and Dim Sum in Shanghai so that you can taste the most authentic Chinese flavor. Of course, we will also arrange several western meals. And in China, especially in tourist cities, you can easily find a western food restaurant.

Due to China's vast territory and abundant resources, many flavors are formed in the diet. The staple food of northern Chinese is mostly cooked wheaten food, such as noodles, pancakes, steamed buns, dumplings, and so on. The staple food of southerners is mostly rice, rice noodles, and so on. In terms of taste, the southern taste is sweeter, while the northern taste is salty. People in Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha prefer the spicy taste. Sichuan hot pot is well-known at home and abroad, it is representative of spicy food.

In addition, the Chinese diet also includes medicated diet. For example, eat nourishing lamb and white radish in winter, and eat mung bean soup to reduce heat in summer.

Chinese food culture directly affects Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and other countries, and is the axis of the oriental food culture; at the same time, it also indirectly affects Europe, America, Africa, and Oceania. Chinese vegetarian food Culture, tea culture, sauce and vinegar, pasta, medicated food, ceramic tableware have benefited billions of people all over the world.
10. Should I pay my tour guide tips and is there a usual amount?
In our itinerary, tipping is not mandatory, but your tip will be considered by the tour guide and driver as an approval of their work. There is no uniform standard for how much tip to pay. You can tip your tour guide at the standard of RMB 100 per day. If you feel that his service is not very satisfactory to you, you can also pay less. The tip of the driver can be less than that of the tour guide.
11. Do I have any free time during the day? Or the sightseeing tour will occupy the whole daytime?
Generally speaking, our China escorted tour starts at about 9:30 in the morning and ends at about 17:30. The rest of the time will be yours. You can go around in the city after dinner or have a good relaxation in the hotel.

If you are in a metropolis such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, you can go out to enjoy the nightlife. There will be many nightclubs and bars that are very alive in the evening. And if you are in a historical city like Xi’an, you can go to the Grand Tang All Day Mall in the evening, there will be a performance every day which can bring you back to the Tang Dynasty. You can also watch the Kung Fu show, Peking Opera Performance and acrobatic performance in the evening. I am sure that will give you much more fun.

If you want to get a relaxing China tour, you can also tell us in advance. We can arrange half-day free time for you to explore the city on your own.
12. Are there any shopping traps during the tour?
There is no mandatory consumption and shopping in our itinerary. The itinerary may include shopping streets or shopping malls with local characteristics, such as the famous Nanjing Road in Shanghai, the Silk Market in Beijing, and the Stanley Market in Hong Kong. These are my favorite tourist destinations. You can choose to buy your favorite souvenirs or just enjoy them. In addition to many products with Chinese characteristics, it also embodies the Chinese shopping culture.

In China, many items on the shopping street can be bargained. Especially in the night market. When the stall owner quotes a price, you can make an appropriate counter-offer based on your judgment. Most of the time, you can get your favorite items at a cheaper price.
13. Is the hotel standard in China the same as in the western country?
The standards of Chinese hotels are different from those of Western hotels. However, the facilities and equipment in international chain hotels are almost the same. Local brand hotels are different. Five-star hotels usually have spacious lobbies and comfortable rooms. And they are generally in the city center or in a convenient place near the city center. Most of the staff here can speak English, so there is no need to worry about language issues. Although the four-star hotels are not as luxurious as the five-star hotels, they are well equipped, with gyms, spas, and meeting rooms, but they may not have swimming pools. The staff in the four-star hotel can only speak limited English. Three-star hotels are budget hotels. The rooms here are clean, which can generally meet the needs of tourists. However, there are not many choices for breakfast in three-star hotels. There may only be bread, eggs, and some Chinese breakfasts such as porridge and steamed buns. The hotel staff does not speak other languages.

Before making the booking, you can tell us your budget for hotels. And we can choose the most suitable hotel for you according to that. After reaching the hotel, your tour guide will help you check-in. And your guide will also tell you about the shopping mall and ATM near your hotel.
14. What is the best souvenir to buy in China?
Paper-cutting is a traditional Chinese handicraft. Only a pair of scissors and a piece of colored paper are needed, and the paper-cutting craftsman can cut out a beautiful piece of work. The content of the paper-cut works is generally auspicious and beautiful things, such as the magpie that represents celebration, the crane that represents longevity, the elephant that represents auspiciousness, and the rice that represents a good harvest. People will stick such paper-cuts on the windows during the New Year to pray for good luck and a good harvest in the new year.

As people's lives become richer, the content of paper-cutting is not limited to people's yearning for a better life. So now you can see all kinds of paper cuts. There is natural scenery, historical buildings, portraits, etc. Excellent paper-cutting artists can also cut out paper-cut portraits according to your appearance on the spot.

Because the paper-cut is light in weight, easy to carry, and has strong Chinese characteristics, it is chosen by many tourists as a souvenir to take home.

Silk is a special product of China. The ancient Chinese invented and mass-produced silk products, which opened up the first large-scale trade exchange between the East and the West in the history of the world, known as the "Silk Road". Since the Western Han Dynasty, Chinese silk has been shipped abroad in large numbers and has become a world-famous product. At that time, China was also called the "Silk Country".

The silk surface is smooth, so clothes made of silk are very comfortable to wear. Under normal temperature, silk can help the skin retain a certain amount of moisture and not make the skin too dry; wearing in summer, can quickly dissipate the sweat and heat discharged by the human body, making people feel very cool.

Therefore, silk products have always been representative of expensive and high-end products. You can choose a silk scarf or tie. If you like big silk products, you can choose a silk dress or shirt.

Chinese tea is another great travel souvenir. Tea has a long history in China. As early as 5,000 years ago, during the Shennong era in China, people began to pick the leaves to boil water for drinking. In the Eastern Zhou Dynasty 3000 years ago, people had already started planting tea trees. There are many types of tea in China, including the famous black tea, green tea, and white tea. Compared to the stimulation of coffee, tea drink is milder and very beneficial to health. Therefore, it is a very good choice to take some Chinese tea back to give to friends and relatives.
15. Can I use my phone in China?
You can still use your mobile phone in China. Only need to open the international roaming service in advance. Then you can make and receive calls in China normally. Chinese hotels generally provide free wifi. So there is no problem using mobile phones to surf the Internet in the hotel. But the Chinese network does not support FaceBook, Youtube, and other foreign software. If you want to use them normally, please download a VPN on your mobile phone before coming to China.
16. Will you help me to get a China Visa?
Yes, when you complete the reservation, China Tour Star will send you an invitation letter. So, we will need detailed information on your passport. You can also send us the photo of your passport so that we can make the invitation letter. If you need a hotel reservation in China, we will also send you a copy. Then you can apply for a travel visa to China. Different countries may require different visa materials to come to China. If the visa staff needs other certificates from the travel agency, we will also issue them.
