Day 1 Beijing Arrival
Airport pick-up & airport hotel transfer.

Upon arrival at the Beijing airport, your excellent China tour will begin! Our professional guide will be holding your name sign and waiting for you at the arrival hall according to your flight schedule. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hotel in downtown Beijing. You are free to arrange your time for the rest of the day, whether to have a good rest at the hotel, or to stroll around to get some impression of the city.

Day 2 Beijing
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace (B+L)

After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel according to the appointed time. First you will go to see the famous Tian’anmen Square, it is located in the center of Beijing, starts from Tian'anmen in the north, Zhengyangmen in the south, China National Museum in the East, and the Great Hall of the People in the West. It is the largest city square in the world and has been rated as one of the "16 sceneries of Beijing". Going through the Meridian Gate(Wumen), you will enter the Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden City (closed on each Monday), it covers an area of 720,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 150,000 square meters. It is the largest existing palace-type building in the world and was selected into the list of "World Cultural Heritage" in 1987. In the afternoon, you will go to visit the Summer Palace, it is a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty in China and located in the western suburb of Beijing,15km away from the city. It covers an area of 290 hectares, adjacent to the Yuanmingyuan Garden. It is the most complete imperial garden, known as the "Royal Garden Museum", and also a national key tourist attraction. It is also known as the most beautiful imperial garden in existence in China.

Day 3 Beijing
Sacred Way, Chang Tomb, Great Wall, Olympic Village (B+L)

Today, you will have an experience of visiting the Great Wall. First, we will drive for about 1 hour to visit the Ming Tombs. The 7.3 kilometers long Sacred Way is the main way leading to the thirteen imperial tombs. It is the first scenic spot of the Ming Tombs, consisting of Stone Archway, Dahongmen, Beilou, Shixiangsheng, Longfengmen, etc.  In 2003, the Ming Tombs were listed in the World Cultural Heritage Directory. The Chang Tomb is the head of the Ming Tombs, it is located in a famous mausoleum area about 40 kilometers northwest of Beijing It is the burial tomb of Zhu Di and Empress Xu of the Ming Dynasty and the most sophisticated and most complete cemetery in the original building. In the afternoon, we will drive about half an hour to the Great Wall and you will have an opportunity climbing up to the Great Wall, which is a world cultural heritage, a national key cultural relics protection unit, and an ancient Chinese military defense project. It is the largest single building since human civilization. On the way back to the hotel, you will have a picture stop at the Olympic Village. As the main residence of athletes and delegation members from all countries and regions, the Olympic village undertakes the service work of all athletes and officials of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in accommodation, catering, entertainment, leisure, etc. And it is also the place where athletes from all countries and regions hold international exchanges and get together.

Day 4 BeijingXi'an
Temple of Heaven, Hutong, A 6-hour high speed train to Xi'an, Train station to hotel transfer. (B)

In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, which is located in the south of Beijing, and east of Yongdingmen inner street, in Dongcheng District. It covers an area of 2.73 million square meters. It is a place for the ancient emperors to worship the god of heaven and pray for good harvest during Ming and Qing dynasty. In 1961, the Chinese State Council promulgated the Temple of Heaven as "A National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit". It was recognized as a "World Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO in 1998 and was officially approved as a national 5A tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration on May 8, 2007. Then you will visit Hutong, it was mainly formed in the Yuan Dynasty in the 13th century, and has undergone hundreds of years of evolution and development. The Hutongs in Beijing usually extend from east to west, and the width is generally no more than nine meters. Then you will be transferred to the train station and take the estimated train:  G661 13:50/19:46 to Xi’an. When you arrive in Xi’an, our professional local guide will wait for you at the train station and then transfer you to the hotel.

Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda (B+L)

Today you will have a chance to explore Xi’an city. It is known as Chang'an or Haojing in ancient time, now it is the Shaanxi provincial capital, and a world-famous historical city. It is one of the four ancient capitals of China, and an important birthplace of Chinese civilization.  This morning, we will pick you up at the hotel and drive for about 1 hour to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is located in the pit of the tomb of the first emperor of Qin in Lintong District, Xi'an City and has been listed in the world heritage and is known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". In 1087, it was listed in “the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit”. It is a golden card of the ancient brilliant civilization in China. After lunch, it will take you about 50 minutes to get to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is also known as "Ci'en Temple". In 652, master Xuanzang hosted to build the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to store his classics brought from India along the Silk Road. The whole building is magnificent, simple and stable in shape, moderate in proportion, solemn and simple in style. It is a well preserved pavilion tower and you can overlook Xi'an City when climbing up the pagoda.

Day 6 Xi'anChengdu
City Wall, A 4-hour high speed train to Chengdu, Train station to hotel transfer. (B)

After breakfast, we will see the 600 years old City Wall, which is located in the central area of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The City Wall was built in 1370 and completed in 1378. It is the largest and most complete ancient city wall in China, and it has also been listed in the first batch of the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units and the national 5A-level tourist attractions. After that, you will be transferred to the train station and take the estimated train: G1887 13:54/17:54 to Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Chengdu downtown and enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Jinli, Wuhou Temple. (B+L)

After breakfast we will first go to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. It is one of the main research bases for the Chinese government to implement the relocation protection project of giant panda and other endangered wild animals. The green coverage rate of the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding has reached 96%, and an ecological environment has been established to facilitate the breeding and reproduction of giant pandas and a variety of rare wild animals. It’s also a national 4A level tourist attraction. Then we will visit Du Fu Thatched Cottage, located in the western suburbs of Chengdu, which used to be the former home of Du Fu, one of the greatest poets in the Tang Dynasty. And it’s the largest, best preserved, most famous Du Fu’s trace site in China. The spot is marked by a stream, ancient style architecture, pavilion pagodas and age-old trees. Then, we will visit Jinli. Jinli uses the spirit of the Qin and Han Dynasties and the Three Kingdoms as its soul, and features the Ming and Qing styles, as well as the content of folk customs in western Sichuan, which has expanded the cultural extension of the Three Kingdoms. Next you will visit the Wuhou Temple of Chengdu. It is the Relics Museum of the Three Kingdoms, known as "Three Kingdoms Holy Land". Then we will take you back to hotel.

Day 8 ChengduShanghai
Fly to Shanghai, Airport to hotel transfer, the Bund, Nanjing Road. (B)

In the morning, our local guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport, then you will take the estimated flight: MU 5404 10:00/12:40 to Shanghai. When you arrive in Shanghai, our guide will wait for you at the airport and you will be transferred to the hotel in downtown Shanghai. In the afternoon, you will have a walk at The Bund, on which stands 52 classical Renaissance buildings with different styles, which are important historical and representative buildings in modern China and one of the important landmarks in Shanghai. And you can also visit the Nanjing Road, it is the busiest shopping area in the metropolis or even across whole China.

Day 9 Shanghai
Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower. (B+L)

Today, you will first visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which is located at 170 Anyuan Road, Putuo District, Shanghai. As one of the top ten tourist attractions in Shanghai, although it is located in a bustling urban area, it is a pretty quiet place. It is known as a pure land in Shanghai. The Jade Buddha Temple was listed by the State Council as a National Key Buddhist Temple of the Han Nationality in 1983, and was announced as a municipal building protection unit by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government in 1994. And then, you will visit Shanghai Museum (closed on each Monday), founded in 1952 with the total area of 39,200 square meters. Shanghai Museum is an architectural model combining square base and round overhanging, which has the meaning of "round heaven and square earth" in China. It has a collection of bronzes from Baoji, Henan, Hunan and other places. In the afternoon, visit Yu Garden (closed on each Monday). Yu Garden was originally a private garden in the Ming Dynasty. It is the main place for sightseeing and various activities in the city. The layout of the Yu Garden is reasonable, and the plants are arranged properly and clearly. There are many trees, large bonsais and flowers. Then, we will see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, it is located in Lujiazui, Pudong New District, Shanghai, which is 478 meters high. It took only 49 seconds for the elevator to reach the sightseeing floor at 263 meters. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is like a giant who is welcoming the guests.
