Day 1 Beijing Arrival
Arrival at Beijing and free at leisure.

Arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport/Beijing Daxing International Airport. Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. On the way to the hotel, the guide will tell you interesting stories, and some useful travel information about this city. Then you will check in at hotel.

Day 2 Beijing
Visit Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace with lunch included.

Beijing is an ancient capital with a history of more than 3,000 years. It is the capital of the People's Republic of China, the political center, the cultural center, the international communication center, and the scientific and technological innovation center. This morning your tour will start from Tian’anmen Square. Tian’anmen Square is in the center of Beijing. It is in East Chang'an Street, 880 meters in the north and 500 meters in the east and west. It is about the size of 61 FIFA football fields and can accommodate around 1 million people to get together. Going through the Tiananmen Gate Tower and the Meridian Gate (Wu Men), you will enter the Forbidden City. The Palace Museum, formerly known as the Forbidden City, is in the center of Beijing's central axis. It is the imperial palace of the 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China. It is one of the most preserved ancient wooden structures in the world and was listed as a World Cultural Heritage in 1987.Then you will visit the Temple of Heaven. It is in the south of Beijing, was built in 1420. It was rebuilt in the Qianlong and Guangxu periods of the Qing Dynasty. It is a place to worship the god of heaven and pray for the abundance of grain for the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. You will have a chance to learn Tai Chi from some Tai Chi enthusiasts in the park of Temple of Heaven. After lunch, you will go to the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace, a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty in China, formerly known as the Qingyi Garden, is in the western suburbs of Beijing, 15 kilometers away from the urban area and adjacent to the Yuanming Garden. Centered on Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain, and the model of Hangzhou West Lake, it is a large-scale landscaped garden built from the design techniques of Jiangnan Gardens. And it is the most intact imperial palace and is known as the "Royal Garden Museum".

Day 3 Beijing
Visit Ding Tomb and Mutianyu Great Wall with lunch.

This morning, we will drive for about 1 hour to visit Ding Tomb of the Ming Dynasty 13 Tombs. The Ding Tomb is one of the famous underground buildings in China. It is one of the thirteen Ming Dynasty tombs distributed in Beijing and it was excavated in 1957. The buildings in Ding Tomb mainly include the Ling’en Gate, Ling’en Palace, Minglou, Baocheng and the Earth Palace. It is the tomb of the Emperor Wanli and Empress of the Ming Dynasty. After lunch, we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall which is the essence of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty and the longest Great Wall in China. The construction of Mutianyu Great Wall has a unique style. There are dense watchtowers here and rugged passes. There are 3 watchtowers erected at one fortress, 6-7 meters tall, 4-5 meters wide, snakes along 5,000 km through mountains and valleys. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage in 1987. You also have a chance to experience cable car up and toboggan down.

Day 4 BeijingXi'an
Fly to Xi'an and visit the City Wall, Great Mosque, Muslim's Quarter. Lunch will be included.

You will take the estimated flight: CA1289 08:45-11:05 to Xi’an. After arrival in Xi’an, our guide will pick you up at the airport, then you will have a light lunch and then see the 600 years old City Wall which is the most complete City Wall in China. After leaning the history of the City Wall, you will have some free time. You could have a walk or rent a bicycle to ride on the wall. After that, we will visit the Great Mosque and Muslim's Quarter. Great Mosque is a Chinese temple-style ancient building complex with a long history and a large scale. It is the crystallization of the fusion of Islamic culture and Chinese culture. At the end of the day you could taste some local snack at the Muslim’s Quarter and enjoy the beautiful night view in Xi’an.

Day 5 Xi'an
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Lunch is included.

After breakfast, we will drive for about 1 hour to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum --- the No.8 Wonder in the world. The Terracotta Warriors and the Horses stand silently to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor---Qin Shihuang for over 2000 years. Terracotta warriors are a category of ancient tomb sculptures. Slaves were buried with their owner in ancient times. Slave was a subsidiary of the slave owner before his death. After the death of the slave owner, the slave was to be buried as a funerary for the slave owner. Terracotta warriors are funerary objects made in the shape of chariots, warhorses and soldiers. Then we will transfer to visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Both the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are important symbols that have been preserved in Tang Chang'an City to this day. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a beautiful tower and is a Buddhist architectural art heritage of the Tang Dynasty.

Day 6 Xi'anLhasa
Fly to Lhasa and visit the Yarlong Tsangpo River, lunch included.

This morning you will take the estimated flight: MU2333 08:20-11:40 to Lhasa. Upon your arrival at the airport, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to Lhasa. Along the way you will enjoy the stunning views along the Yarlong Tsangpo River, the longest river in Tibet. The rest of the day will be yours to rest and acclimate yourself to the high altitudes.

Day 7 Lhasa
Visit the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street with lunch.

In the morning, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Potala Palace. The Potala Palace is located on the Maburi Mountain in the northwest of Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet. It is the grandest building in the world, integrating palaces, castles and monasteries. It is also the largest and most complete ancient palace complex in Tibet. And then, you will be driven to Jokhang Temple, The Jokhang Temple is in the center of Lhasa's Old Town. It is a Tibetan Buddhist temple and was built by King Songtsan Gambo. The reason why Lhasa is known as a "holy place" is related to this Buddha statue. After the completion of the Jokhang Temple, the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties repeatedly modified and expanded to form the current scale. The Jokhang Temple has a history of more than 1,300 years and has a supreme position in Tibetan Buddhism. After visiting the temple, you will walk along Barkhor Street which is in the center of the old down of Lhasa. It is Lhasa's most completely preserved street. It is a gathering place of Lhasa's religion, economy, culture, ethnic handicrafts, and even the local customs of Tibet. It is also a place that travelers must go to Lhasa. You will have traditional Tibetan foods and they will entertain you with local songs and dancing.

Day 8 Lhasa
Visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, lunch is included.

In the morning, after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to two monasteries Drepung and Sera. Drepung Monastery is the highest status temple in the Dge-lugs-pa of Tibetan Buddhism in China. Together with Gandan Monastery and Sera Monastery, they are called the Three Great Lhasa Monasteries. It is located on the western outskirts of Lhasa, even under the Uzi Mountain. The temple is large in scale, and the white building complexes lined with mountains are covered with hillsides, and it looks like a giant rice heap in the distance, so it is named Drepung. Drepung, the Tibetan word for "Mi Ju", symbolizes prosperity. The full name of Sera Monastery is "Sera Mahayana Monastery". It is one of the six main temples of the Dge-lugs-pa of Tibetan Buddhism. It is the latest one of the Three Great Lhasa Monasteries to be built. Debating Buddhist scriptures is a discussion of Buddhist knowledge and a way to learn the Buddhism. Monks in Sera Monastery debate Buddhist scriptures every day. We may have an opportunity to see their distinctive activity if we are lucky enough.

Day 9 LhasaShanghai
Fly to Shanghai, no meals included.

Today you will take the estimated flight: TV9909-CZ3591 12:50-19:30 1 Stop in Zhengzhou to Shanghai. Our guide will be holding your name sign and waiting for you at the airport. Your tour guide will not leave until you appear. After your arrival, the tour guide will take you to the hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Visit Yu Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, take a Huangpu River Night Cruise, and visit the Bund, Nanjing Road. Lunch is included.

Today, you will first visit Yu Garden. Yu Garden is a Jiangnan classical garden. It was originally a private garden in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. Then you will have some free time looking around the bazaar area outside the garden. Then you will have some free time looking around the bazaar area outside the garden. After lunch we will see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It is one of the iconic cultural landscapes of Shanghai. It is in Lujiazui, Pudong New District, with a tower height of about 468 meters. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Shanghai on the observatory. In evening, you will take a Huangpu River Night Cruise and enjoy the beautiful sunset view on the deck. It says “The best place to enjoy the view of Huangpu river is not on the Bund, but on a cruise”. It is a must-have item for visiting Shanghai. Then you will see the Bund. The Bund is located on the banks of the Huangpu River in Huangpu District. On the Bund stands 52 classical revival buildings of very different styles, known as "Exhibition of the World's Architecture". It is an important historical site and representative building in modern China, and one of the landmarks of Shanghai. You could take some pictures there and the last stop of your trip is the No.1 shopping street the Nanjing Road. You can have some free shopping time there.

Day 11 Shanghai Departure
Fly back to your home.
