Day 1 Hong Kong
Sham Shui Po, Soybean Milk, Douhua, Char Siu Bao, Bamboo Pole Noodles, Dumplings

After breakfast, we will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Sham Shui Po. As one of the earliest developed areas in Hong Kong, and the former industrial, commercial, and transportation hub, Sham Shui Po is located in the northwestern part of the Kowloon Peninsula, covering an area of about 1,047 hectares. When you come here, it would be a big pity if you don’t taste the various delicacies.

First, we will taste the Cheung Fun. It is a kind of steamed food with paper-thin wrapper(generally made with flour, rice flour or potato flour) stuffed with ingredients like shrimp, pork, and green onions. The taste of steamed rice rolls is very smooth. After eating this food, you may want to drink something. So we will take you to try Soybean Milk, a kind of drink made by soybeans after being ground, filtered, and boiled. Soy milk is full of nutrients, and if you put a little white sugar when drinking, it may taste better.

Then we will go to taste another soybean product - Douhua, which is a type of fresh, extra-soft, uncurdled tofu that is even softer than silken tofu When you eat it, you can add salt or sugar according to your preference, and you will taste a strong bean flavor.

Next, we will go to eat Char Siu Bao(barbecued pork buns). It is juicy and salty with unique barbecue flavor.

Afterward, we will take you to taste Bamboo Pole Noodles. The name of this noodle is related to bamboo because one of its making steps is rolling the dough with bamboo poles. So bamboo pole noodles are very elastic and have a good aftertaste.

At last, we will taste Dumplings, a very famous Chinese delicacy. And here, you can also choose to eat soup dumplings and fried dumplings, which are all delicious. Dumplings are very popular around the world. So if you have eaten dumplings in your country, you can compare it with the dumplings you eat here. After this Hong Kong food tour, we will transfer you to the hotel.
