Macau Tower, covering an area of 13,363 square meters, is a well-known large-scale tourist facility in Macau Special Administrative Region, and it is also a new landmark in Macau. Macau Tower cost a total of 1 billion MOP and officially received tourists in 2001. It is a combination of tourism, conference, and entertainment.
From the ground to its highest point, Macau Tower has a total height of 338 meters (1109 feet) and 56 floors. The main viewing floor is located 223 meters (732 feet) above the ground. It is one of the top ten sightseeing towers in the world and a member of the World Tower Alliance. At the same time, as a sightseeing tower, Macau Tower is also the tallest sightseeing steel tower in Southeast Asia that surpasses the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The world's highest bungee jumping has settled in Macau Tower. After jumping off the 233-meter platform, the challenger will free fall at 200 kilometers per hour and feel the pleasure of falling free in 4 to 5 seconds! The bungee rope is 50 meters long and can be extended 4 times this length, allowing the challenger to drop to 30 meters above the ground before rebounding and slowing down.
Standing at an altitude of 223m, the outer periphery of the top of Macau Tower is only 1.8m wide and "strolling" on the open-air steel frame without handrails.
The challenger jumped down from a height of 223 meters, and in less than 20 seconds, at a speed of 75 kilometers per hour, he could experience the leap in the air. Jumpers must put on a special flying suit first, and the flying suit will be connected to three steel wires that can withstand a tension of 3000 kilograms; the landing process is not controlled by humans or engines. When the distance is about 10 meters from the ground, the steel wires will turn into DOWNGEAR mode allows jumpers to easily land on the ground.
The sightseeing floor has four floors. In addition to the 59th and 60th floors for catering, the 58th floor is the indoor observation lounge and the 61st floor is the outdoor observation deck for challenging entertainment. All four floors can overlook the panoramic view of Macau from high altitude.
The challenger climbed the world's tenth tallest free-standing tourist tower with bare hands and felt the sense of accomplishment of conquering a height of 338 meters. The challenger starts at a height of 100 meters from the top of the tower, and it takes about two hours to go up and down the tower. If you succeed in the challenge, you will have the best panoramic view of Macau. Macau Tower is the only Sky Tower in the world that allows tourists to set foot on its summit.
When you arrive at the Macao Tower, if you do not have an online reservation, you can purchase tickets on the spot in the hall of the Macao Tower Convention and Exhibition Entertainment Center; if you make a reservation online, first rely on the information provided in mobile phone text messages or e-mail to redeem tickets for Macau Tower and bungee jumping at the service desk on the first floor of the entrance.
Then you can take the elevator to the 61st floor and find the bungee jumping place. Because the 61st floor of Macau Tower is used for sightseeing and bungee jumping, so you’d better decide the order of sightseeing and bungee jumping. After jumping, you have to come up to take away your own things. You need to register the information at the bungee jumping office, sign the certificate of life and death and receive a red T-shirt. After that, you can go to the locker room to store things and change clothes, 20 Portuguese coins for a cabinet. Do not carry any potentially dangerous things on your body. Jewellery is not allowed, even the cash in your pocket. After changing your clothes and putting on a red T-shirt, you can tie a safety rope on your waist. Later, you can go to a place to weigh your weight and the number of your weight will be written on the back of your hand. After that, a staff member will come and explain the precautions to you for bungee jumping. The staff will speak in English throughout the process. Then you will sit on the small bench and just wait for your turn.
When the coach calls you, you will enter the outdoor preparation area and sit on a chair that says “ARE YOU READY”. There is a pullable device beside the left leg rope. When it reaches the lowest point of the free fall, you can pull it, then the whole person will bounce up, presenting a sitting posture. Through this posture, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, otherwise, you will keep head down to the ground. You can try a few times to confirm that you can pull before you jump. During this period, a dedicated cameraman will take pictures for you. A GO PRO will also be tied to your hand to record the entire bungee jumping process.
You will slowly move to the platform, and the cameraman will also turn to the side platform to take pictures. When you have greeted different cameras, the coach will kick off a level on the platform. This level is connected to the rope, so you will have a feeling that something pulls you out. After the level is kicked, there is a countdown, if you don’t yell. With the coach calling out the countdown to 5 seconds, you will jump and experience the excitement and freedom of free fall.
After falling on the ground cushion, with the red T-shirt on you, you can directly return to the 61st floor and start sightseeing and taking pictures. You can get the USB in about 20 minutes and there is a computer next to you to check the videos and photos first. The e-Cert will be sent to your mailbox the next day. It will also provide a membership card and all future activities at the AJ Hackett Club with 20% off.

Skywalk should be a relatively peaceful adventure on the Macao Tower. You should take the elevator to the 61st floor and find the skywalk office to register the information and you will receive an orange T-shirt. Later you can put on clothes in the locker room. Then you will wear some protective covers and wait for the team to gather. Because at an altitude of more than 220 meters, there is nothing left in your pocket. If your shoes are not so tight, you need to change tighter shoes. You can wear your glasses, but you must tie a rope to prevent them from falling. Before going out of the tower, the coach will help you put on the outer protective rope and explain the precautions to you for skywalk. Walking on the platform, if not looking down all the time, you will not feel terrible. There are usually about 7 people walk together.
During the period, the coach will take photos for you in different poses at several photo spots, and you will walk around the platform in ten minutes. After coming down, you can wait for the photos in the locker room. The staff will save the photos to the USB and distribute them to everyone respectively.
