Various majestic mountain peaks and grotesque rocks can be seen everywhere in the scenic area when one enters here. Waterfalls hang in high mountains, and clouds like sheep float in the sky, making it ethereal. The animal landscape, natural landscape, and cultural landscape are integrated into one, which makes it a good reputation of “majesty prevailing over the Five Famous Mountains and beauty being second to none in Central Plains”.

Once entering the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits on summer days, travelers feel cool. The rationale behind it may be that the place lies at the dividing line between the North Temperate Zone and the Subtropical Zone, giving it four distinct seasons. The scenery in each season has its own characteristics. The various flowers bloom in spring, making the place colorful; the weather is cool in summer; red leaves hang all over the trees in autumn; the spectacular landscape — the iced trees and the snow-covered mountains, always makes visitors spontaneously burst into cheers at its beauty.

Its pleasant climate and special geography surrounded by mountains make it a natural oxygen bar. It has become a summer resort that numerous people will choose for holidays. In 1993, it was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of Forestry. In 2000, it was approved as one of the top ten tourist attractions of Luoyang.
