Introduction of Bund Sightseeing Tunnel
The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel
For the first time, the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel will be designed with underground cooling towers to maintain the harmony and integrity of the environment between the Bund in Puxi and Binjiang Avenue in Pudong.
Through sound, light, electricity, laser, and other high-tech means, the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel is only 6.76 meters in diameter and 646.7 meters in length to create a colorful dynamic landscape. Although it takes only five minutes to cross the river, visitors will pass through eight scenic spots with different views and connotations.
The first thing you pass through is the Time Tunnel Zone, and when the broken aluminum plates on the tunnel walls hit the ground, there is a "bang", which means you are entering the ground floor. In the Vortex Zone, the light waves decay rapidly and the fiber emits light, creating a gorgeous vortex. As you will see later, on the walls of the cave is a simulated rock scene supplemented with hallucinatory light, and explorers are passing through layers of rock known as the "Shuttle Zone."
As you enter the "Magma Ejection Zone" near the bottom of the river, dazzling lights are showing the lava boiling and erupting. Here the color is blurred and the atmosphere is peaceful.
The tunnel is 646.7 meters long. The inside of the tunnel is filled with exotic colors created by high-tech technology, such as yellow starfish, pink flowers, geometric patterns of different shapes, and a variety of creatures on earth. These scenes attract people and stimulate their imagination.
The passenger system of the dream journey, the driverless carriage imported from France, the environmentally-friendly SK, the silver transparent car, and the 6-channel hi-fi stereo sound system in the carriage, all of which will make people have an immersive impact.
The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel has also added the "Sound Fantasy World", "Deep Sea Rare Exhibition" and other leisure and entertainment projects, so that visitors will have a wonderful holiday.
"Phonics world" is a popular entertainment project in Europe and America in recent years. Through the intelligent installation of the system, sound, light, electricity, wind, vibration, heat, taste and other factors, and people's curiosity, fear, and advice psychology are used to mislead and stimulate people's senses, so that people have the feeling of immersive.
The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel introduces the traditional project of "Sound Fantasy World" series -- "Old House Startled". When visitors enter, they feel as if they have come to a former residence hundreds of years ago, and can feel the mysterious life and strange experience of the owner of this old house. When you hold your breath and walk out of the "old house", the excitement is still in your heart.
The Fish Landscape
Compared with the adventure of "Sound Fantasy World", the "Rare Sea Exhibition" on the second floor of Pudong brings us a perceptual understanding of nature. Many uncharted territories have opened doors for us and given us a whole new understanding of marine animals.
" Rare Sea Exhibition” not only shows century-old tortoises, but also a giant spider crab in his 80s, with a single leg length of 2.5 meters. If you're lucky, you can see some interesting octopus shows or waltz to music.
The exhibition area also has some interesting entertainment activities for visitors to participate in personally. It is worth mentioning that the ticket price for this exhibition is only 30 yuan. There is also a discount if you buy a joint ticket for the sight-seeing tunnel.
The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel is a landmark landscape project integrating traffic and tourism. It uses space and modern high-tech means to embody characters, history, culture, science and technology, landscape, and so on. The process of crossing the river has a strong interest, entertainment and stimulation, leaving a good memory for tourists.
The Light Landscape
There are 12 escalators and 4 vertical elevators in the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, two of which are for the disabled. Two systems are used for lighting in the tunnel: one is general lighting for traffic periods; the other is the landscape lighting in the tourism period, with landscape decoration and constantly changing various light sources, to create a unique style of the effect.
The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel fire monitoring system, TV monitoring system, transportation control, monitoring systems, landscape control system, automatic fare collection system, and intelligent office systems are all controlled by the central control room in Pudong through a computer network, which contains a large number of modern high-tech achievements. The overall technical level of the project is at the leading level in China.
